Adding your own files
Give Claude a file and ask for it in the room.
Three ways, all of them ordinary.
Attach it to the chat, or add it to a project
Drag in a PDF, a deck or a document and ask for what you want:
Ask Claude
Use the attached deck to build an Acme Proposal.
Claude reads it and writes the content into the room.
Point at a file on your computer
In Claude Desktop or Claude Code:
Ask Claude
Add ~/Desktop/product-shot.png to the Acme Proposal.
Paste a link
If it is already online:
Ask Claude
Add https://acme.com/case-study.pdf to the Acme Proposal.
If Claude cannot reach a file itself, it gives you an upload link. Open it, drag the file in, tell Claude it is done. The link works once and lasts thirty minutes.
Good to know
Images, video and PDFs, up to 500MB each. Save logos as PNG rather than SVG.
A video needs a few moments of processing before it can go on a page. Claude will tell you when it is ready. With a long video, build the rest of the room first and add it at the end.
